On 6 October 2020 Mrs. Elena Zavanella (Partner of BC&) attended – as speaker – to the online conference “Nursing homes for reliant elderly people (RSA), private supportive housing for elderly people (Alloggi Protetti) – The transformation of the residential Silver Generation offer” organized by AGIDI – Associazione Italiana dei Giuristi di Diritto Immobiliare.

In particular, Mrs. Zavanella’s speech – after having highlighted the constant growth of the nursing homes for reliant elderly people (RSA) and of the private supportive housing for elderly people (Alloggi Protetti) businesses due to the Italian social-demographic context and the consequent appeal of such businesses for institutional investors diversifying, through the “senior living” line of business, their portfolio – was focused on the different private and public contracts provided under applicable laws to be entered into between the owner and the entity in charge of the management of both the RSA and the APA analysing the pro and cons of such contracts from the different perspectives of the owner, the investor and the entity in charge of the management and consequently trying to identify the most efficient contractual solutions satisfying the interests of the involved parties.
